Kenya Power Lists Areas That Will Experience Blackout on Monday, December 16

Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has scheduled maintenance in some areas in three counties on Monday, December 16. A Kenya Power live line engineer on site.  List of areas to experience power blackout In a statement on Sunday, December 15, KPLC said the localities in the foregoing counties will experience an electricity blackout for six to eight hours.  

“Good evening our esteemed customers, the following areas are scheduled for power interruption dated tomorrow (16/12/2024),” KPLC said. 

1. Bomet County

 Parts of Siongiroi area; Cismara Hotel, Kenya Forest Offices, Restaurant, Bomet Water, Kyoging, Sachora Market, Olbutyo, Siongiroi, Kabplesero, Labotiet, Mogor, Kamaget, Sigor, Lelaitich, Lela Farm, Chebunyo, Kaboson, Emarti, Fairmount Mara Club, Ntulele and adjacent customers. 

2. Embu County

 Embu University, Fisheries, Embu School of Government, Kangaru School, Riverside, Iveche, KARI, Eaglel, Kangaru Market, Gakwegori, Winter Villa, Kithunguru and adjacent customers 

3. Kisumu County 

Area around West Kano Irrigation Scheme; Nyangande Market, Kbarwa School, Nduru Market, Nyangande Health Centre, Korowe, Ongeche School, Nduru School and adjacent customers
