Children are encouraged to celebrate their parents and give them their flowers while they are still alive and well. Nairobi man Zack surprising his father at Nairobi CBD.  A young man has done exactly that as has shown his affection and appreciation for his hardworking father. TikTok user Captain Zack displayed his love for his father through an admirable and thoughtful gesture. He organized a birthday surprise for his industrious father, expressing his gratitude for his sacrifice. Zack’s sweet message to his father “To the man that lost everything to see me win. I value you, I love you, I celebrate you, I notice you, I care for you❤️. Dad, you are the best thing that has happened in my life. We celebrate you publicly and without any utterance of shame.

You are important to me. Guys, help me celebrate my dad ❤️. Happy birthday Daddy. More grace. We love and appreciate you for your efforts, hard work, and resilience. Asante dad,” he wrote in his caption. Zack’s dad, who works as a matatu tout for a SACCO, was over the moon following the lovely surprise from his son. He was joined by his colleagues and friends during the celebration at Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD). Zack’s father emotional as he turns 50 Zack’s dad was in his uniform when he was surprised, as the participants happily joined in the celebration. Zack bought a cake for his father alongside other gifts, which he handed over later in the celebration. “Look how happy he is. Look at his smile. His inner child was awakened. I have never seen my dad this happy and emotional,” Zack shared as he cut the birthday cake with his father, who was drenched with water. “Today, my heart is full. ❤️ My dad turned 50 today and what a day it has been! I got the chance to surprise him at his place of work. Happy birthday, dad,” he added.

Why did Zack celebrate his father publicly? Zack’s dad took several photos with his crew, showing he was a people’s person, that he related well with them and they liked him. He noted that his father had sacrificed so much for him to be where he is, hence the need to celebrate him even as he turned a year older. “Why not? Dad, I am proud of you and the man you have taught me to be. We are not there yet, but the progress is evident. I love you, Dad. We celebrate you publicly and without shame,” Zack wrote. Kenyans react to Zack surprising his father Social media users were moved by Zack’s gesture as they flocked to the comment section of the video to react. He deserves it because he raised you and provided as a responsible dad would. Bless him. My own dad recently asked me to send him and his other kids money, yet he was never there for me, financially or emotionally. Only my mum deserves my help.”
