Agutu is well known for advocating body positivity. She gained a huge global audience and shares inspiring videos and positive messages online. This show was her first time walking in Paris Fashion Week.

Her debut shows she is a rising global influencer. It also highlights the increasing importance of African voices in high fashion.
Agutu wore a long black and gold gown by Balmain. She looked full of confidence as she walked.
She appeared next to major stars like Viola Davis and Eva Longoria. The show was titled “Stand Strong: Beauty in Every Voice.” It celebrated being unique and having representation.

“It’s about telling every Black girl, every curvy girl, every African girl that she belongs on the biggest stages in the world—just as she is,” Agutu stated. Agutu grew up in Kisumu, Kenya.
She later moved to the United states of America, where she earned a Master’s degree. She started her career by sharing personal stories online. A big moment came when she was featured in the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
