Lillian Ng’ang’a has captured the admiration of fans after sharing heartwarming footage from a recent coastal family getaway that doubled as a birthday celebration for their son, Utheri.
The former Machakos First Lady and her husband, rapper Juliani, travelled with their children to Kenya’s coast in early July to mark Utheri’s third birthday.
The trip came months after speculation swirled about a possible split between the couple, but their joyful moments together offered a different story — one of enduring love and family unity.
Juliani’s teenage daughter, Amor, from his previous relationship with actress Brenda Wairimu, also joined the couple on the trip.
In one photo, the rapper proudly posed with his children wearing matching t-shirts branded with his image, captioning it, “My people with me everywhere they went leo.”
A Thriving Blended Family
Lillian posted a touching video showing Juliani, Amor, and young Utheri celebrating together. “Celebration time🎊🎂💓🎉🎊. #3YearOld #MyUtheri❤️,” she wrote, drawing praise from fans who were thrilled to see the blended family thriving.
Followers filled the comment section with well wishes and admiration. Emilyngugi004 wrote, “Beautiful family, happy birthday to the little boy.”
Dnekesa9 added, “I see Amor having fun with her younger brother. You’re a great mum, Lillian.” Others like Florencewanjue and Tatakanini.njeri shared emojis and sweet birthday messages, clearly touched by the display of family unity.
Personal Milestones and Public Reaffirmation
Beyond the family trip, Lillian also marked a personal milestone earlier this month — her 40th birthday.
The celebration, held in early July, was a private yet joyful affair surrounded by close family and friends, including long-time ally and activist Boniface Mwangi, who attended with his wife.
Taking to Instagram, Lillian reflected on the day with gratitude: “You plan and imagine then God makes it happen exactly how you’d envisioned. That was my 40th birthday celebration. Perfect in every single way! My heart is full. Let life begin now!”

Her joyful posts came in the wake of persistent rumours about trouble in paradise. Speculation had grown since September 2024, when online sleuths noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on social media. By early 2025, reports suggested they were no longer wearing their wedding rings.
