Kenyans walked to the Nairobi CBD on Wednesday after vehicles were barred from accessing the city centre.

Most businesses remained closed, and only a few people were seen walking around.

Anti-riot police camped at key roads leading to the State House, Nairobi, as the country marked the anniversary of the June 25 protests.
