CS’s Barasa, Duale to handover dockets Tuesday

Environment Cabinet Secretary Dr. Deborah Barasa will on Tuesday officially take over from her predecessor Aden Duale.

This is after President William Ruto made changes to his Cabinet, announcing new appointments and reassignments last week.

The changes saw the two Cabinet Ministers, Deborah Barasa and Aden Duale moved to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry and Ministry of Health respectively.

Other changes included the naming of Hanna Wendot Cheptumo to the Ministry of Gender, Culture, the Arts & Heritage. The position has been vacant since the name of Stella Soi Lang’at was rejected by Parliament after vetting.
