Silas, a watchman turned salesman at Kai and Karo, has hit significant milestones after making his first multi-million car sales. Silas, a security guard, was promoted to the sales team at Kai and Karo. How did security guard become salesperson? According to car dealership Kai and Karo, Silas sold a gloss black Toyota Land Cruiser powered by a V8 engine. The SUV is famed for its advanced power, safety and convenience features. A locally used model costs upwards of KSh10 million. “Help us congratulate Silas on his first sale – a Toyota Land Cruiser,” Kai and Karo captioned a photo of Silas posing next to the SUV. In a follow-up, the car yard announced that Silas had also sold a Toyota Mark X. “Just when we thought Silas was done, he also sold a Mark X. Two cars in the same week. Silas is working hard, and we’re super proud of him.” Reacting to the sales, impressed social media users lauded Silas for the milestone. They also patted the CEO Khalif Kairo on the back for empowering the salesman. Sing’i M Sing’i: “Congratulations, Silas, Kai and Karo. The family is proud of your consistency, hard work and determination. It’s an excellent start.” Webutsa Oriyo: “I just love that you believed in him when everyone didn’t. Khalif, You’re a true gentleman.” When was security guard promoted? The ex-security guard was promoted to sales in February after he impressed Khalif by marketing an Audi Q5. “Cyrus used to work in the security department, but the sales team spotted his sales talent and promoted him to a sales executive,” wrote Kai and Karo In the January sale, Silas aptly described the 2016 model as the best vehicle in the market and asked interested buyers to visit Kai and Karo and make a purchase.
