A young man from Nakuru is thanking his lucky stars after attempts to ‘abduct’ him were thwarted by members of the public. A scared man running away. Why was the Nakuru mob angry? In a video shared by Nairobi Juice, a young man is seen screaming for dear life while trying to tear his hands from the cuff links of his suspected oppressors. The bespectacled man, who had a backpack on, kept trying to pull away while a man in a flowery shirt kept pulling him towards a car. “Leave him, put him down,” shouted some members of the public, while others screamed at the top of their lungs. Some irate women even tried to hit the ‘abductors’, and the young man kept lifting his hands to show that he had cuff links. How was the Nakuru man released?
A policeman who happened to be on the scene seemed confused as everyone was shouting, and there was confusion everywhere. Finally, the handcuffs were removed, and the man was released, to the delight of the people. In the recent past, there has been a spate of abductions that have seen some people lose their lives while others have been set free after uproar from the public. The abductions have also attracted condemnation from the clergy and the judiciary, who were also perturbed by the growing incidents. Reactions to the video: lyricall_wizard: “Good work na hivo ndivyo itakuwa jana tulichangamkia mmoja 😂😂.”
