Tanzanian singer Nandy has refused to be dragged into Willy Paul, alias Pozzeh, and Diamond Platnumz’s beef, which has been trending for weeks. Nandy vowed to support Willy Paul despite his beef with Diamond Platnumz. The Totorimi hitmaker appeared on a radio show and recalled how Pozzeh supported her when she was trying to break into the industry.
Nandy is set to hold her festival in 2025 and was asked if she plans to invite Pozzeh, still facing backlash in Tanzania for his tussle with Diamond. How Willy Paul supported Nandy When Diamond visited Kenya, one of his bodyguards had a scuffle with the Kitanzi hitmaker and allegedly roughed him up.Nandy said: “Willy Paul is my friend, and we have not had any disagreements or talked about collaborations recently. He even called me about a tour he is doing in the second month and asked me to work with him. We agreed on the payments, and hopefully, I will go and support him.
The truth is, he really supported me when I started the Nandy festival; I did not even give him a shilling. He just told me to make him comfortable as he comes, including food and accomodation. Will Nandy stop working with Willy Paul Nandy also said she has not had a chance to talk to Pozzeh about the scandal involving him and Diamond but will contact him.
“The kindness he showed me makes it hard for me to get on his personal business. Our collabos were a win-win. Helped me get in Kenya and they helped him get known in Tanzania. Apart from his issues, I do not think I can punish him, work is work,” she further said.
