In a heartbreaking turn of events, a Kenyan woman has passed away months after visiting her children in Australia. Kenyan Woman Dies Months After Visiting Children in Australia, Family Seeks Help to Repatriate Body Anne Too, lovingly known as Mum to Caroline and Dominic, had just returned from a visit to her children in Katherine, Darwin, Australia, when tragedy struck. The family is now seeking assistance to repatriate her body back to Kenya. The news was shared by Nicky Boit, a family member, through a heartfelt message on the crowdfunding platform GoFundMe. Boit expressed the family’s devastation over the loss of their dear mum, highlighting the immense sorrow of losing a parent, especially after the joy of having them around. Anne Too’s visit to her daughter Caroline and her family in Katherine, Northern Territory, took place in August 2023. However, during her time there, she developed chest complications, which required medical attention. She was receiving treatment at Katherine Hospital (KDH) for her condition. Despite initially responding well to treatment, Anne Too’s health took a sudden turn for the worse on April 28, 2024. She was rushed back to Katherine Hospital, where she was admitted once again. Tragically, despite continued efforts to save her, Anne Too passed away on May 3, 2024, at 14:15 hours. The family is now reaching out to friends, relatives, and the public for financial assistance to honour Anne Too’s memory and facilitate the repatriation of her body to Kenya. They expressed gratitude for any contributions, emphasizing that every donation, whether big or small, would be deeply appreciated. They also thanked everyone for their prayers, emotional support, and kindness during this difficult time.
