While at the event, Willy Paul published a post complaining about double standards. He claimed that Tanzanian artistes were being given priority while Kenyan colleagues were being disrespected. “Tanzanian artiste are being given priority at this event. This is sad. Why are Kenyans being disrespected in front of Bongo musicians?” Pozze wrote.

According to an insider who spoke to TUKO.co. ke, Diamond was the main artiste and was expected to perform last. However, the Mawazo hitmaker wanted to perform earlier than that.
