A rare look inside the private residence of businessman Wicknell Chivayo reveals an extraordinary collection of high-end luxury vehicles. One Zimbabwean media outlet conducted a tour inside his vast compound during funeral proceedings at the property, guiding viewers through the expansive vehicle bays.
The First Carport Collection
The initial carport displays six prominent luxury vehicles. A flagship Mercedes-Benz Maybach sits at the front, carrying the signature “777” plate. Beside it stands a high-performance Brabus, also bearing the “777” plate.
The lineup continues with the latest Range Rover model. A Lexus luxury vehicle sits adjacent, equally customised with the triple seven plate.

The collection includes a Mercedes-Benz S 580 and an additional Mercedes-Benz sedan.The reporter noted the freedom of choiceoffered bysuch a fleet.“I assume he would just wake up and choose any car that you would want to drive. And he was not that cheap in terms of the toys,” the reporter said.
Flagship Models and Personal Branding
Moving into the second carport reveals even more exclusive automobiles. A prominent Rolls-Royce features both the “777” signature and the “WMC” plate.
Another vehicle in this section bears a custom plate reading SEW. These cars highlight a distinct preference for customisation and personal branding.
Bespoke Vehicles for the Family
The third carport houses vehicles reserved specifically for his wife, Lucy. This bay features a bespoke Bentley, tailored directly for her use.
Apart from spoiling himself and spoiling others with the expensive toys, he would also spoil his wife.Parked alongside the Bentley is a high-performance Lamborghini. This expensive supercar is also customised for Lucy.
Beyond personal purchases, the businessman frequently gifted vehicles to others. He regularly directed associates to receive cars such as the Toyota Aqua, Fortuner, Mercedes-Benz, and Range Rover.

Wicknell Chivayo and his wife, Lucy Muteke died in a helicopter crash in the Marondera Rural area, east of Harare on September 30. The aircraft reportedly went down at approximately 5 p.m. local time on Wednesday evening. All six people on board were killed in the incident.

According to the family spokesperson, Chivayo andwifewill be buried on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Glen Forest Cemetery in Harare.
