American R&B singer Ne-Yo will perform live in Nairobi on Tuesday, 20th October 2026. The daytime concert, titled “One Night Only: Brunch Edition“, takes place at the Ulinzi Sports Complex on Kenya’s Mashujaa Day public holiday.
The event runs from 3:00 PM until 11:00 PM. It marks Ne-Yo’s return to the country after an 11-year absence.
Rather than featuring a standard solo opening act, organisers have added UK showband Sol & The Gang to the lineup.

Sol & The Gang is a UK showband and music collective. The group was founded by singer, songwriter, and choreographer J-Sol. J-Sol rose to prominence on The X Factor UK.
His televised performance of“Bullet In My Heart“reached over 20 million views online. Across digital platforms, J-Sol has earned 14 million streams and 100 million views.
“20th October. Ulinzi Sports Stadium. Nairobi. It’s going to be one for the books…so come catch us in the flesh. Don’t be that person watching the clips online,” the group confirmed their attendance via Instagram.
The collective consists of professional singers, musicians, and dancers. Band members trained at institutions including The BRIT School, ELAM, and The Royal Academy of Music.
They have collaborated with UK Top 40 artists including Dua Lipa, Boyz II Men, Little Mix, and Jessie J.Their band setups range from intimate acoustic groups to a full 30-piece ensemble. The full setup features brass horns, strings, percussion, dancers, and a live DJ.
