Sheryl opens up about the breakup.
Speaking about the end of their relationship, Sheryl hinted that there were several factors behind their decision to part ways.
She, however, chose to highlight the pressure they had been receiving from people online.
“I will tell you one of the reasons why we broke up… the pressure you guys have been giving us.”
Sheryl went on to defend Chapeau, suggesting that his decision to remain quiet about the situation was partly because of his personality.

“He won’t tell you because he’s a nice guy,” she said.
Sheryl appeared willing to address the issue herself and explain to their audience how the constant scrutiny surrounding their relationship affected them.
Their relationship attracted attention online.
Sheryl and Chapeau’s relationship had attracted considerable attention from social media users, with the pair occasionally appearing together online.
Their romance also drew interest because Chapeau is from Cameroon, making their relationship one that crossed national borders.
As their relationship became more visible, however, they also had to contend with comments and opinions from Kenyans online.
Sheryl’s latest remarks suggest that this attention may have eventually taken a toll on their relationship.
Chapeau reportedly chose not to address the pressure.
While Sheryl decided to speak about the issue, she indicated that Chapeau was unlikely to give his own side of the story.
