Kenyan digital creators, comedians, and musicians shifted from internet platforms to headlining independent live productions in 2026. Prominent venues across Nairobi and Eldoret hosted these major solo performances.
Jaymoh Decin’s Stadium Comedy Debut (12 September 2026)
Digital creator Jaymoh Decin headlined his first major solo stand-up comedy show, the “Sudhee Experience”, on 12 September 2026. The sold-out event took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.
The show marked Decin’s tenth year in the entertainment industry. He brought popular online characters such as Choke Jingli to the live stage. Decin went viral for making a dramatic, Prophet Owuor-inspired entrance while dressed in full white.

Redsan’s Three-Decade Retrospective (29 August 2026)
Dancehall musician Redsan celebrated three decades in music with his solo concert, “Redsan at 30”, on 29 August 2026. Held at The Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi, the 12-hour event ran from 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
The showcase featured classic hits alongside guest appearances by regional and international acts, including T.O.K, Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Jua Cali, and Wyre.
Jemutai and Nameless in Mid-August (15–16 August 2026)
Comedian Jemutai hosted her “11th Anniversary Show” on 16 August 2026. She took her solo stand-up performance to Central Primary School in Eldoret for the celebration.
Singer Nameless marked 25 years in the urban pop scene with his silver jubilee concert, “Nameless @ 25”, on 15 August 2026. Held at The Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi, the show sold out nearly two months in advance.

August Cultural Events and Anniversary Shows (1–8 August 2026)
Creator Victor Nyaata staged the solo “Mkisii Fest” at the KICC on 8 August 2026. The production took place without co-founder Osoro Cyprian, causing a public dispute regarding brand control and organisation.
Afro-Pop singer Nadia Mukami held her sold-out milestone show, “10 Years of Nadia Mukami”, on 1 August 2026 at Mass House on Ngong Road. Tech partnerships provided fans with dedicated facilities during the anniversary concert.
On the same date, comedian Njugush staged “Through Thick and Thin 6 (TTNT 6)”, subtitled “SEASONS”, at the Sarit Centre Expo Hall. The performance tackled relationship politics and everyday Kenyan life. This was his solo act without Celestine Ndinda alias Wakavinye.

Nyce Wanjeri’s Theatre Special (27 June 2026)
Actress Nyce Wanjeri hosted her one-woman Gikuyu stand-up comedy special, “Maisha No Maya”, on 27 June 2026. The production took place at the Kenya National Theatre in Nairobi.
