Tanzanian musician Harmonize has opened up about his past romantic relationships during an appearance on Obinna TV Extra podcast. Speaking with host Oga Obinna, the singer addressed questions regarding his former lovers, whether he holds a favourite ex-partner, and why he has occasionally reunited with past girlfriends.
Harmonize has made headlines across East Africa over the years due to high-profile relationships, including his marriage to Italian model Sarah Michelotti and his public romance with Tanzanian actress Frida Kajala and Jacqueline Wolper.
Refusing to Pick a Single Favourite
During the broadcast, Oga Obinna asked the recording artist to identify his favourite ex-lover from his past relationships. Harmonize refused to single out any individual woman, explaining that he maintains respect for every person he has previously dated.

“I’m not going to go around the bushbutI respect all of them, but let me say all of them are my favorites,” he revealed.
The singer explained that discussing former partners publicly on camera can create friction or cause unnecessary jealousy, particularly if those women have moved on into new relationships.
He noted that praising a former partner publicly could accidentally disrespect another man’s current relationship. Consequently, he prefers to keep details about his ex-partners private.
The Logic Behind Reuniting with Exes
The host pressed Harmonize on why he has previously chosen to get back together with former lovers, such as his well-documented reunion with Frida Kajala. Harmonize explained that returning to a past partner often comes down to comfort and familiarity rather than starting over from scratch with a stranger.
“Life is very funny, unaweza ukajikuta upo kwenye situation that you never know, so sitaki nimalize maneno,” he responded.
He clarified that he is not afraid of dating new people. However, he noted that he relies on faith to guide his romantic decisions, believing God will bring the right partner into his life at the right time.
“Among the reasons that made me go back to a woman who I have separated with before, ni ile feeling ya kujiuliza tena kuanza upya wakati nimemzoea huyu. Unajikuta kwenye hiyo situation. I’m not saying that I’m going to do that, but that’s something that once happened to me.”

Admitting Mistakes and Looking Ahead
When asked what factors contributed to the end of his past relationships, Harmonize admitted that he made human mistakes along the way. He stated that he does not blame his former partners and views past challenges as learning experiences.
Harmonize concluded the topic by reiterating his respect for all the women who shared time with him, noting that each relationship helped shape the person he is today.
