Akothee’s Touching Advice to Kanyari Amidst Children Custody Dispute

Musician and businesswoman Akothee has reached out to Prophet Victor Kanyari with words of support as he navigates a public dispute over his children. Akothee, a mother of five who often refers to herself as the “President of Single Mothers,” shared her own experiences with co-parenting to offer the preacher guidance.

The outreach follows Kanyari’s recent claims that he has been barred from seeing his two children, Sky and Danny Victor, following the death of his ex-wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo.

A Message of Empathy

Akothee sent Kanyari a “big hug and prayers,” noting that she felt the pain behind his recent public statements. Drawing from her own life, she highlighted the complexity of raising children with multiple fathers from different backgrounds, including Kenyan, French, and Swiss partners.

“Co-parenting with a baby mama is already an emotional suicide. Now with another manisgodsfavor upon you.You can only co-parent with your baby mama or baby daddy; you cannot co-parent with their new partner,” she revealed.

She described the reality of co-parenting as “painful, complicated, and often misunderstood.”

The Children as ‘Greatest Judges’

The singer advised Kanyari to avoid legal battles if possible. She suggested that while magistrates rule in courts, the children themselves are the ultimate deciders of where they belong.

Akothee noted that children often interpret freedom as love and discipline as punishment, sometimes gravitating toward the less demanding parent.

She encouraged a peaceful approach, sharing that she once chose to “love from a distance” to protect her own mental health and future.

“As the self-declared President of Single Mothers and an advocate for family values, my humble advice is this: never stop loving your children, never stop showing up, and never make them choose between parents.

Children already carry enough pain from broken homes. They need healing, not more battles let’s use dialogue kind approach and settle on some understanding,” she advised him.

Background of the Dispute

Prophet Kanyari recently alleged that a rift has been caused between him and his children. He claimed he has been asked not to visit the family home or interact with Sky and Danny.

Kanyari further alleged that the children’s maternal grandparents have also been restricted from seeing them. During a Sunday sermon, the preacher expressed his desperation to be reunited with his offspring.

While some members of the public have urged Kanyari to involve the authorities, Akothee has called for a different path. She urged all parties to put the welfare of the children above “egos, revenge, and personal differences.”

She concluded her message by asking Kanyari to call her so they could speak further.
