Content creator and trader Nedz Mordechai has sparked conversation online after showing off advanced lighting technology in a newly acquired Range Rover, praising what he described as the vehicle’s “AI intelligence”.In a video shared on social media, Mordechai marvelled at the luxury SUV’s automatic headlight adjustment system, comparing it to the common habit of manually switching between full beam and dim lights while driving at night.Using humour and sarcasm, he suggested the feature had changed his perspective on night driving.“Unaendesha gari usiku alafu unashinda ukieka full light, dim, full light, dim… hii gari ikona AI intelligence,” he said.
How intelligent headlights work
Modern premium vehicles, including several models under the Range Rover line-up, come equipped with adaptive driving beam technology or matrix LED headlights.
These systems use sensors and cameras to monitor surrounding traffic conditions.
The technology can automatically detect approaching vehicles, motorcycles, pedestrians or lorries and adjust sections of the light beam accordingly.
Instead of switching off the entire high beam, some systems selectively dim only specific areas to avoid dazzling other road users while maintaining visibility for the driver.
Mordechai referenced the feature in his remarks, noting that the vehicle reacts differently depending on what lies ahead.
“Kama unapitakanga pikipiki inakumilika… kama ni lorry inazima lights za hiyo side,” he explained.
Such systems have become increasingly common in high-end vehicles as manufacturers invest in driver assistance technologies designed to improve safety and comfort during night driving.

“This car belongs to my wife”
Beyond the technology, Mordechai also used the moment to discuss his lifestyle ambitions and trading success.
He joked about followers attempting to copy his trades, suggesting his financial goals remain firmly focused on acquiring even more luxury vehicles.
Although visibly excited about the SUV, he clarified that the Range Rover is not his personal purchase.
“Wachana na hii gari ya bibi imenifurahisha sana… I’m getting my own supercar,” he said.
The comments quickly drew reactions online, with some viewers discussing luxury motoring technology while others focused on his bold declaration about future purchases.
For Mordechai, however, the spotlight remained firmly on one thing — intelligent headlights and his promise that a supercar could be next.
“Remember, I am going to get my own supercar,” he said.
