“No Parent Deserves That Pain” — Colloblue Reacts to Utumishi Girls Loss

Kenyan content creator and dancer Colloblue has shared an emotional message about the pain parents go through after losing a child, following the recent tragedy linked to Utumishi Girls.
In a video circulated online, he spoke about grief, parental sacrifice, and the emotional impact such losses have on families.

Pain We Cannot Fully Understand.

In his remarks, Colloblue emphasised that the grief experienced by parents who lose children is on a level that others may never fully comprehend. “A mother or a father who has lost a daughter or a son, their pain is on a different level that we cannot understand.”
He added that people who have not gone through such an experience cannot truly claim to understand it. “It is impossible for us to say we understand the kind of things these people go through.”
His comments came as families continued to grapple with the shock and grief surrounding the Utumishi Girls incident.
Parents Make Huge Sacrifices
Colloblue also reflected on the efforts many parents make to educate their children, often involving major financial and personal sacrifices.
“A parent takes a child to school. Some parents have taken loans and sacrificed everything, then suddenly they receive news that their child has died.”
He described the situation as deeply painful and difficult to comprehend, especially when a child’s future appears to have been cut short unexpectedly. The remarks highlighted the emotional weight carried by families who invest heavily in their children’s education and well-being.

Call for Prayer and Strength

Colloblue urged the public to remember the affected families in prayer and to show compassion during the period of mourning. He said that only spiritual strength could help parents endure such a loss.

“All you can do is pray for God to give them grace and a lot of strength because that kind of loss is unimaginable.” He extended condolences to the families of the students who lost their lives and called for national solidarity.

“Condolences to the families and parents of those kids who have passed on. Let us pray for our country.” The message was added to the ongoing national reflection following the incident, as families continue to mourn and seek comfort in the aftermath.
