KSh 950k on Flights: Risper Faith’s US Delivery Plans Ignite Online Conversation

Kenyan socialite and digital creator Risper Faith has sparked reactions online after revealing that she travelled to the United States to give birth to her second child.
The former Nairobi Diaries star shared videos from her journey alongside her son, expressing excitement about welcoming her baby in the US and reuniting with her husband, Brian Muiruri.

Risper Announces Journey to America

In videos shared on Instagram on Friday, May 15, Risper documented parts of her trip aboard Etihad Airways, saying she was travelling business class for comfort during the final stages of her pregnancy.
She disclosed that the tickets for herself and her son cost nearly KSh 1 million in total.

“I am flying business class with my son on Etihad Airways. We are doing business class, and the comfort is top-notch. Life is good,” she said.

According to Risper, she paid KSh 500,000 for her own ticket while her son’s airfare cost KSh 450,000.
She also revealed that airport staff assisted them throughout the journey due to her condition.

“Even the airport transfers don’t want us to walk around, so they bring us around in wheelchairs. Putting our money to good use.”

The influencer further addressed critics who had doubted she would manage to travel abroad for the delivery.

“Those who used to say, let’s see if she will go deliver in America, come and see for yourself.”

Instagram Post Draws Reactions

Risper later shared another celebratory message after landing in the US.

My son and I are on our way to the USA to bring home his sibling. God keeps elevating us in rooms people prayed we’d never enter.”

Her post quickly attracted reactions from fans, celebrities and followers who congratulated her and wished her a safe delivery.
Several Instagram users flooded the comment section with humorous and supportive messages.
One fan joked:

“Sawa aunty madooo kesho naingia Jambojet ya Western nizalie Sikhendu. Congratulations, my girl, and safe delivery.”

Another follower wrote:

“Ah! Mimi napenda wewe sana. Safe delivery.”

A third supporter commented:

Lavish Baby Shower Before Departure

Before leaving Kenya, Risper had hosted an elaborate baby shower at Pax Manor attended by friends, celebrities and close family members.
She had also announced that she would be stepping back from influencing work temporarily to spend time with her husband in America ahead of the birth.
The mother of one appeared excited about the new chapter and even asked fans to suggest names for her unborn baby.

Risper Opened Up About Long-Distance Marriage

Risper’s latest move comes months after she emotionally opened up about the strain of living away from her husband.
In September 2025, the socialite broke down during a TikTok live session while describing the loneliness she experienced while Brian lived in the US.

“Hii nyumba ni kubwa… it feels like a grave,” she said emotionally at the time.

She explained that handling responsibilities alone had become overwhelming and admitted she deeply missed her husband’s presence.
Months later, Risper appeared overjoyed after reportedly securing a US Green Card and finally reuniting with Brian abroad, marking what many fans described as a fresh chapter for their family.
