Bishop Muthee Kiengei has impressed netizens with a video of a bungalow belonging to Kaluma Boy’s family that’s nearing completion. Bishop Kiengei visited Kaluma Boy’s family home. The bishop was in an upbeat mood as he shared the progress of the house built in support of the 17-year-old TikToker who wowed social media users with his dedication to caring for his ailing father. Kaluma boy became viral online in early 2025 when he appealed for help taking care of his sick father. The moment caught the attention of many Kenyans online, with most moved by his dedication to care for his father despite his young age.Video of Kaluma Boy’s bungalow Among those who responded to his call were a group of TikTokers who went to his village to show him support. Kiengei then hatched the project that has transformed the family’s fortunes. The clip shared by the Jesus Compassionate Ministries founder showed the expansive compound surrounded by a stone wall, with the house taking shape in the middle of vast land. A broad two-sided gate opens up into the compound, offering a unique perspective of the entrance. The house features a modern pitched roof with an impressive grey roofing sheet to contrast the nearly finished wall. The neat layer of machine-cut stones is only interrupted by massive windows fitted with one-way view glass. The verandah is wide, giving a unique perspective of the entrance. One can also see the units on the side that appear to be complementary to the house. Kiengei gave some instructions to the team accompanying him, while gesticulating towards the compound. The heartwarming video shared on Thursday, April 16, has caused quite a reaction online, with most congratulating Kiengei for spearheading such a life-changing opportunity for the family.
