Ena Coach announces increase in fare prices with immediate effect

Ena Coach, one of the leading transport companies in Kenya, on Wednesday, April 15 announced that it is revising its fare structure following new fuel prices announced by EPRA.

In a statement, Ena Coach said it is increasing fare prices after carefully assessing the operational costs occassioned by the rise in fuel prices, as announced by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).

This revision, the bus company says, is meant to sustain its service quality across all routes.

“Following the recent fuel price review announced by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), we have undertaken a careful operational assessment and implemented a necessary adjustment to our fare structure to sustain service quality across all routes,” Ena Coach announced.

Under the new revised fare structure, passengers will pay KSh1,700 for travelling from Nairobi to upcountry via Narok, up from KSh1,500. Those travelling from Nairobi to upcountry via Nakuru will pay KSh1,800.

Accordingly, passengers travelling from Nairobi to Mombasa will have to part with KSh2,000, while those travelling from Mombasa to upcountry will pay KSh3,000 fare.

The bus company says the adjustments take effect immediately.

“We fully understand the impact of cost changes on our customers, and this decision has been made with great consideration and responsibility. Our commitment remains unwavering to ensure safety, operational excellence, and provision of exemplary services.”
