Kenyan socialite Amber Ray has rejected her partner Kennedy Rapudo’s request for another child, saying their family of four children is “more than enough”.
The two shared a light-hearted but pointed exchange after she came back from Istanbul, Turkey. She had cosmetic surgery there in September 2026.
Three procedures in one sitting
Amber had three procedures in a single sitting. They were a breast augmentation to restore fullness after breastfeeding, a liposuction 360 on her midsection, and a calf fat transfer using the fat taken during the liposuction.
She also had a dental makeover covering 21 teeth.
Amber has indicated that a double-chin reduction is next on her list, after she finishes recovering.
Rapudo raises the baby question
Rapudo teased her about having another baby while she was still recovering. Amber rejected the idea outright.
“Baba Africanah, leave me alone. Giving you another child is something that will be hard to convince me to do. We have enough kids — two boys and two girls — and that is more than enough. After all those processes, why would you think I would agree to carry another pregnancy? Even you are complaining about helping me put on my recovery brace,” Amber said.
From doubt to support
Rapudo had initially been reluctant about the surgeries. He told Amber she was already beautiful before she went ahead.
Even so, he welcomed her home at the airport with a bouquet. He has since supported her through her recovery, including helping with her brace.
“Just wait and see”
His support has not dampened his wish to grow the family. Rapudo kept up the teasing and made clear he still wants more children.
“I heard you say that this is your summer body; just wait and see,” he said with a grin.
A blended family of four
The couple share a daughter, Africanah. Both also have children from previous relationships, bringing their blended family to four children.
Rapudo has hinted more than once that he would like Africanah to have a younger brother.
Amber’s stance on another child has changed over time. She once joked that she would think about it if Rapudo bought her a luxurious mansion. On another occasion, she suggested she might be open to the idea, given how well he treats her.
