Tanzanian prophet Fadhili The Kemuel has warned people who received gifts from late Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo to get rid of them.
Fadhili issued the warning on Thursday, October 1, a day after Chivayo died in a helicopter crash in Zimbabwe alongside his wife, Lucy Muteke, and other passengers.
In a social media message, the prophet claimed that some of the gifts Chivayo handed out were linked to what he described as a dark spiritual agreement.
He went as far as urging anyone who had received a gift from the businessman to destroy it.

Fadhili specifically called on people who benefited from Chivayo’s generosity to burn the items they received.
“If the late Sir Wicknell gave anyone anything, they should burn the items because they were associated with bad oaths,” he said.
The prophet further claimed that Chivayo had allegedly been given a mission to distribute items to different people as part of what he described as a “demonic covenant”.
Fadhili also referenced Chivayo’s connections with people in religious circles while making the claims.
The warning has since drawn attention because Chivayo was known for making highly publicised gifts to people across different fields.

Chivayo’s well-known gifting spree
The late businessman had built a reputation for giving away expensive cars, cash, phones and other valuable items.
His beneficiaries included musicians, church workers, sports personalities, lawyers and other public figures.
His gifts were often announced publicly on social media, with Chivayo detailing the items or amounts he intended to give.
Even on the day of his death, Chivayo made what would become his final public post, announcing major gifts for two lawyers who had been part of his life and business journey.

Lawyer Wilson Tatenda Manase was promised a 2026 Lexus GX 550 valued at US$220,000, together with US$250,000 in cash. Advocate Sylvester Hashiti was also promised a 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography and US$500,000 in cash.
Chivayo died on September 30 after a helicopter carrying six people crashed in the Marondera area of Zimbabwe. There were no survivors, according to reports from authorities and international news agencies.
Fadhili’s warning has now added a spiritual dimension to the discussion, with the prophet urging those who received Chivayo’s gifts to part with them based on his claims about their alleged origins.
