Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has emerged as Nairobi County’s highest-rated legislator, posting an impressive 82 per cent approval rating.
The ranking places Babu at the summit of Nairobi’s parliamentary leadership table, reflecting substantial public confidence in his performance and engagement with constituents.
Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi ranked second with 79 per cent, followed closely by Embakasi West MP Mark Mwenje, who secured an impressive third position with 78 per cent.
Embakasi Central MP Benjamin Gathiru and Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi were jointly ranked among the county’s leading performers, each recording 76 per cent.
Embakasi North MP James Gakuya followed with 75 per cent, while Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie registered 74 per cent.
Starehe MP Amos Mwago scored 73 per cent, with Ruaraka MP Tom Kajwang recording 72 per cent. Kasarani MP Ronald Karauri registered 71 per cent.
The ratings offer a compelling snapshot of public perceptions surrounding parliamentary leadership in Nairobi, where elected representatives are increasingly under pressure to demonstrate tangible results, maintain accessibility and respond effectively to the evolving social and economic concerns of their constituents.
