Kenyan musician Nadia Mukami has publicly dismissed suggestions that she should have a girl child to balance her family. The interaction occurred shortly after the singer shared the first public photos of her second-born son’s face.
While many fans celebrated the milestone, others used the opportunity to pressure the star about having a daughter.
“Forget That One”
The exchange was sparked by a fan who asked Nadia to consider adding a “Zuwena” to her family. The follower, using the handle @josfynmolly, suggested that the public is still waiting for a real-life baby girl to bear the name.
The fan wrote: “Nadia I’m just reminding you we are still waiting for Zuwena… happy birthday champ.” This comment quickly gained traction, earning 435 likes from other users within 21 hours.
Nadia was quick to offer a witty rebuttal to the suggestion. She made it clear that a third child is not currently on her agenda.
“Forget that one, it’s better we delete that song.”

Her response proved even more popular than the original pressure, garnering 654 likes. Another fan joined the banter, joking that the singer was avoiding having a “bestie” to accompany her to the hair salon.
A Milestone for Ameer Kiyan
The light-hearted exchange happened as Nadia and her ex-partner, fellow musician Arrow Bwoy, celebrated their son Ameer Kiyan’s first birthday. For the first time since his birth, the couple revealed the toddler’s face to their followers on social media.
In a heartfelt joint message, the parents reflected on their first year with Kiyan. They described the period as being filled with tiny smiles, little giggles, cuddles, [and] sleepless nights. They noted that the love they feel for him is deeper than they ever imagined.
“Watching you grow from a tiny baby into the beautiful little boy you are today has been one of our greatest blessings,” the joint celebration statement read.
A Year of Blessings
The “African Popstar” and Arrow Bwoy expressed their hopes for their son’s future. They prayed that he would grow up protected by God and courageous enough to chase every dream. They also promised to support him throughout his life.

“We will be there to hold your hand, guide you, celebrate you, and cheer you on through every season of your life,” the couple wrote.
Nadia and Arrow Bwoy welcomed their first son, Haseeb Kai, in 2022 and their second-born son, Kiyanin August 9, 2025.
