Michelle Ntalami on Overcoming Discouragement Before Birthday

Michelle Ntalami, the prominent Kenyan entrepreneur and founder of Marini Naturals, recently shared a deeply personal reflection on social media. Her birthday on 23 June 2026 was marked by a significant emotional and spiritual shift. What began as a period of intense anxiety transformed into a celebration of a “new season.”

A Season of Discouragement

Before the milestone, Ntalami admitted to feeling overwhelmed. She described a period where her personal and professional life felt unstable. She was open about her mental state, noting that she felt tired, confused and so discouraged.

The weight of these feelings led her to consider avoiding any public or private festivities.

She wrote, “I didn’t want to do any physical celebration. I just wanted to disappear and reappear.”

This sentiment reflects the pressure often faced by high-profile figures who feelthe needto maintain aperfectimage whilefacinginternal struggles.

“Everything prior to that seemed to be falling apart.”

A Divine Redirection

Despite her initial desire to hide away, Ntalami experienced a change of heart. She attributes this shift to her faith. She explained that she felt a divine nudge to change her plans. Instead of withdrawing, she decided to host a small gathering to mark the day.

She noted, “But who is God? He placed it in my heart to hold a small thanksgiving because He wanted to officially and openly launch both mine and @marini.naturals new season.”

This event served as more than just a birthday party; it was a strategic and spiritual relaunch for both the entrepreneur and her famous hair care brand.

The Launch of Marini’s New Era

Marini Naturals has long been a staple in the African beauty industry. Based on information outside of the provided sources, Ntalami founded the company in 2015, and it has since grown into a multi-million shilling enterprise with a presence in several countries.

The celebration turned into one of her “most joyful and memorable” days. The entrepreneur expressed her awe at the outcome, stating, “And boy, didn’t He show out!“.

“What was meant to be my most anxious birthday turned out to be one of my most joyful and memorable!”
