Kirinyaga Senator Kamau Murango has emerged as the country’s top-performing senator in the latest Infotrak poll, scoring 69 per cent.
Murango led a list of 15 senators recognised for their performance, with Nyandarua Senator John Methu following closely at 68 per cent. Murang’a Senator Joel Nyutu ranked third with 65 per cent.
Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei was placed fourth after attaining 64 per cent, while Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot completed the top five with 63 per cent.
Baringo Senator Vincent Kiprono, Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka and Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo each scored 62 per cent to share the next position in the rankings.
Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and Samburu Senator Steve Lelegwe followed with 61 per cent each.
Mandera Senator Ali Roba and Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua each recorded 60 per cent in the poll.
West Pokot Senator Julius Mugor scored 59 per cent to take the next position.
Bomet Senator Hillary Sigei and Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago completed the list after each attained 58 per cent.
The Infotrak poll ranked the senators based on their recorded performance, with Murango posting the highest approval rating at 69 per cent. The survey placed Methu and Nyutu among the leading performers, while the remaining senators featured in descending order according to their respective scores.
