Nadia Mukami Breaks Silence After Arrow Bwoy’s Vurugu 2 Loss

Kenyan singer Nadia Mukami has broken her silence after her former partner, Arrow Bwoy, suffered defeat to Ugandan businessman and boxer Shakib Cham Lutaaya at the much-publicised Vurugu 2.0 celebrity boxing event.

The bout, held in Nairobi, attracted significant attention across East Africa due to the personalities involved and the intense build-up that preceded the fight.
In the weeks leading up to the event, Arrow Bwoy and Shakib exchanged jabs online, with some of the banter extending beyond the ring and involving Shakib’s wife, Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan.

The discussion intensified after Arrow Bwoy lost the fight, with Nadia taking to social media to encourage him.

“To Baba Watoto, for a first fight, you tried a lot!!! Your first time in the arena and you did it!!! You brought showbiz and skills as that was the most anticipated match of Vurugu 2 because of you!” she wrote.
Nadia’s Response Draws Attention
Although she did not directly criticise Arrow Bwoy, Nadia’s post was widely interpreted by her followers as a reaction to the fight’s outcome.
Nadia also praised the singer for stepping into the ring and urged him not to be discouraged by criticism following the loss.

“People are talking about Arrow Bwoy! That’s enough! Ignore the hate and the memes; some can’t even survive half a round. Now up you go! Keep training. Big stages ahead,” she added.

However, the mother of two quickly responded to the criticism through her Instagram Stories. Nadia explained that she was simply embracing healthy co-parenting and had no intention of carrying bitterness after the end of their relationship.

“To the people saying Nadia is desperate, NO! I just decided to embrace healthy co-parenting. I am too bubbly to carry hate in my heart. I am too tiny to carry the burden of hate in my heart; that’s too heavy for me,” she wrote.

Fans Flood Instagram With Reactions

Some followers sympathised with Arrow Bwoy despite the loss, while others used humour to comment on the celebrity boxing match.
Among the critical comments that appeared under the post were:

@King_Mwas: “Arrow Bwoy should have focused on training instead of talking too much before the fight.”

@Shiroh_Wanjiku: “The internet never forgets. People are now connecting everything to the breakup.”

@Dan_Moraa: “Nadia is winning without stepping into the ring.”

@Brian254: “This post feels like subtle shade after the defeat.”

Other users, however, urged fans not to read too much into the singer’s message, arguing that not every social media post should be linked to her former relationship.

Vurugu 2.0 Continues to Generate Buzz

Vurugu 2.0 was among the most talked-about entertainment events in the region, combining celebrity boxing with music performances and social media rivalries. Organisers positioned the event as a platform where public figures could settle scores through regulated competition.
Nadia concluded her message by thanking Oga Obinna for organising the event and supporting the entertainment industry.
