US-based Kenyan content creators Isaiah, popularly known as Baba Jimmy, and his wife Judith, alias Mama Jimmy, have expressed gratitude to supporters who helped furnish their new home through a gift registry.
In a video shared on their YouTube channel, the couple took viewers on a room-by-room tour of their house, showcasing the various items purchased by supporters and explaining how each gift has helped their family settle into the new space.
According to Baba Jimmy, the idea of creating a registry came after numerous followers repeatedly asked how they could contribute towards the family’s new home. “People supported us so much. They bought so many things. So we want to show everything that people bought and also give our gratitude,” said Baba Jimmy.Transforming the New Home The couple demonstrated how several of the gifts have already become part of their daily routines. “The children love this thing,” Baba Jimmy said while demonstrating a toaster that allows the family to prepare toasted bread at home.Mama Jimmy also spoke about several kitchen items she personally selected, including storage containers, serving accessories, and decorative pieces designed to match the overall appearance of the house.“I love it because my whole kitchen is bright,” she said while explaining why she chose one of the kitchen organisers. The couple repeatedly thanked individual supporters by mentioning their first names while being careful not to reveal personal details.
Children Enjoy Their New SpacesSeveral gifts were dedicated to the family’s children. As the tour came to an end, the couple reflected on the support they had received and revealed that they had eventually closed the registry after receiving numerous household essentials. “You have supported us so much, but you’ve helped us in a big way,” Baba Jimmy said.
He stressed that every contribution, regardless of size, had made a difference as the family settled into their new home. “Every single person who bought something from that list has helped us in a very big way.”
