Kenyan music veteran Nameless has finally addressed persistent online rumours linking him to the Illuminati and dark forces. The singer-songwriter is currently preparing to celebrate a quarter-century in the industry.
He utilized his social media platforms to clarify the situation and reassure his fans.
The conversation started with a direct question from a fan named Tim Doo on a social media thread.
“I read a story some times back somewhere eti you are a member of dark forces, is it true legend?” the fan asked.
Nameless responded quickly, using laughing emojis to show his amusement. He described the allegations as “so ridiculous” and noted that he prefers to laugh them off.
The musician labelled the rumours as “ufala tu za watu idle,” which translates to “foolishness from idle people.”

This direct approach was well-received by his followers. Some commenters expressed their appreciation for his transparent and humorous response.
“Some things are so ridiculous I just find funny now! And move on!” Nameless said.
Addressing the “Majitu” Mystery
In a separate post, Nameless questioned why these conspiracy theories had gained traction. “Hizi story za dark forces na Illuminati mulitoanga wapi jameni!” he asked his followers.
He speculated that perhaps his song titled “Majitu” was the source of the public’s concern.
To reassure his fanbase, he jokingly promised to remove the song from his upcoming setlist. “Okok ok, sitaimba MaJitu on 15th Aug, musiogope,” he wrote.
He told his fans not to be afraid of the performance. However, he continued the joke by asking if his hit song “Juju” would also be seen as a link to dark forces. “Lakini Juju tunaweza imba? AMA ata hiyo ni dark forces pia!” the singer quipped.
