Four dead, several injured in head-on collision on Narok–Bomet Highway

Four people have died while several others sustained injuries following a road accident at Tegero area along the Narok–Bomet highway in Narok County.

Confirming the incident, Narok Police Commander Patrick Lobolia said the crash involved two vehicles — a lorry that was heading from Bomet towards Narok and a saloon car travelling in the opposite direction.

According to the police, the accident occurred after the lorry veered off its lane upon reaching the scene, leading to a head-on collision with the oncoming saloon car.

As a result of the impact, four people died on the spot, while an unknown number of others were left injured.

The bodies of the deceased were moved to the Narok County Referral Hospital mortuary, while those injured were rushed to various health facilities for treatment.
