Nyako Pilot, a prominent Kenyan content creator residing in Germany, has candidly shared the reasons behind her decision to stop dating white men.
The TikToker opened up about a series of gruelling experiences that led her to reach the end of her tether with the international dating scene.
The Financial Cost of Online Search
Nyako revealed that her journey to find love abroad was both exhausting and expensive. She admitted to being a frequent user of digital platforms in the past.
“When you see nowadays I’m not interested in dating these white men, just know I have reached the end,” Nyako said.
At one point, she had joined almost every online dating site available in an attempt to find a partner.
However, the search for a companion often came with a literal price tag. Nyako recounted a specific incident where a dating service, unexpectedly withdrew over 200 euros from her bank account.
“There was a time I was in almost all online dating platforms. There was of them that one day withdrew over 200 euros from my account,” she painfully recounted.
She expressed frustration at how these platforms can sometimes drain a user’s resources without delivering a genuine connection.
Bizarre Night-time Encounters
Beyond the financial setbacks, Nyako shared a particularly strange story about a man she encountered. She described a situation that left her baffled and uncomfortable. According to the TikToker, the man would wear a snorkel to bed at night.
“I met a man who wears a snorkel at night. He fastens it and tells you it helps him breathe.”
Nyako recalled the peculiar experience of trying to sleep while the man wore the diving equipment. She noted that the snorkel would emit a bubbling sound in the middle of the night.
This bizarre habit was one of many red flags that eventually pushed her to reconsider her dating choices.
Moving On from “Wazungu” Relationships
While she spoke about these personal trials, she also touched on the broader theme of narcissism. She used her platform to warn her followers about the emotional toll that certain relationship dynamics can take.
For Nyako, the combination of financial scams and erratic behaviour from partners was enough to call it quits.
