“I was kicked out at 3 AM!” – Kamene Goro finally reveals truth behind viral body count story

Media personality Kamene Goro has finally set the record straight about the infamous body count story that she says nearly destroyed her life.

In an interview with Radio47’s Alex Mwakideu, the radio host opened up about what really happened.

For years, people have speculated and judged Kamene based on that viral moment.

“I don’t have any regrets about my past. I think there are things I wish I had done differently, but if I had not done them differently I wouldn’t be the person that I am right now. I wouldn’t have the level of discipline that I have right now if I had not messed up as much as I had in my past,” Kamene explained.

But then came the bombshell. The number that caused so much controversy was not even real, according to Kamene.

“There were many, even hiyo story ya body count, which was not true by the way guys, can we just get that clear,” Kamene revealed.

Mwakideu, clearly surprised, could not help but interject. “Oh, you lied,” he said, expressing what many viewers were thinking.

Kamene then explained the real story behind the controversial number.

“Yes. What happened was, it was to bait for a campaign on sexual health awareness. So that’s the number I was given to say,” she disclosed.

The confession left Mwakideu visibly shocked. “Hata mimi nilikuwa nimeshtuka kidogo.”

Kamene added a lighter perspective. “Unadhani ningekuwa na bwana saa hii kama ingekuwa hivo,” Kamene said jokingly, pointing out how such a reputation would have affected her relationship prospects.

But the consequences were far from funny.

“If I had not gone through that then I don’t think I’d have the level of discipline I have now. Because that was one of the reasons I was chased home. I wouldn’t have learnt how to stand on my own to fit, start planning on how to be an adult and grow up,” Kamene said.

The most heartbreaking revelation came when she described that traumatic night.

“I was chased out in the middle of the night, at 3 am in the morning by my father because of that body county video,” Kamene said.

Left with nowhere to go, Kamene had to survive on her own in the most expensive way.

“Sikuwa na mbele wala nyuma, nikaenda kuishi Park Inn by Radisson Blu and per night it was KSh11,500. Nikakaa for one month,” she revealed.

The experience taught her valuable lessons about money.

“Money comes, money goes. Do not make a ‘god’ out of money,” she said.

Despite everything, Kamene now uses her platform to guide young women.

“Go out there and see what the world has to offer, but that doesn’t mean I said you sleep with multiple partners,” Kamene Goro said while advising the young ladies, who mostly flood her dms.

Her final words carried wisdom from someone who has weathered the storm.

“This life has no formula, do not be stressed about it. Life is hard, what happens is we get tougher. Essentially the only formula to this life is take each day as it comes and at the end of the day, always put God first,” said Kamene as she concluded.
