A sombre mood has engulfed Tigania East following the heartbreaking death of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidate who perished in a road accident on Sunday, September 28, in Muriri. Inno Shan, the form four candidate who died in a crash in Muriri, Tigania East.  Inno Shan, a student at Nchuui Secondary School, was set to sit for her national exams, set to begin in October 2025. Her untimely death has left her family and community devastated, with many mourning the loss of a young life full of promise.  What happened after the Muriri crash? At the crash site, a large crowd gathered in silence as the mangled matatu belonging to Nyenya Sacco was towed away.

\According to footage from the scene, the vehicle veered off the road and overturned, leaving behind a trail of wreckage and sorrow. Messages of condolence have poured in from across the country, with Kenyans expressing solidarity with Shan’s grieving family and calling for improved road safety measures to prevent such tragedies.
