Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika has broken her silence following allegations that she wears counterfeit designer clothes and hired a luxury car for show.
In a bold Instagram story post, Vera addressed her critics directly, calling out what she described as a string of “fake stories” being spread about her since purchasing her car.
“I Don’t Buy Fake Designers!”
Vera set the record straight with a fiery response:
“I DON’T buy fake designers. Y’all already know that. Remind that B**** pls. I would rather wear Zara till I die.”
She went on to explain that she documents her purchases publicly — showing her walking into high-end designer stores like Gucci and Chanel, paying thousands of dollars for authentic items.

“If I start posting receipts for my designer items we won’t finish this matter today or tomorrow.”
She challenged those spreading rumours to bring evidence, offering a $2000 reward to anyone who could prove she bought fake items.
Fake Stories and Petty Claims
In the second part of her post, Vera expressed her frustration over what she termed “everyday new fake story” attempts to bring her down. She addressed specific claims that:
Her luxury car is hired, not owned
She is financially struggling
She is allegedly wearing fake designer items
Responding sarcastically to the car hire rumour, she broke down the maths herself:
“Car is hired. It’s now 12 days; 80k*12 = Ksh. 960,000 spent on car hire so far.”

She dismissed the claims as absurd, questioning how a TikTok dance video with a Chinese girl could possibly be used as “evidence” of her purchasing counterfeit fashion items.
Business-Focused and Unbothered
Sidika didn’t stop at just defending herself — she also made it clear she’s focused on building her empire. She revealed she had just returned from a business trip to China, where she was sourcing products for a new venture.
“Don’t be a bitter b****… Business trip to China to source for suppliers’ products for a business venture.”
“I’m Just Getting Started”
Closing her statement with signature sass, Vera warned her critics to buckle up:
“Guess what; I’m just getting started. Please stock up the pressure pills and buckle up baby!!! It’s gonna be a wild ride.”
