Grade C1 teachers were supposed to receive a minimum pay of KSh 36,336 and a maximum pay of KSh 47,261.
How much did teachers earn in July 2025? However, July payslip disclosures indicated that the teachers in grade C1 receive a minimum salary of KSh 28,491, which will grow to KSh 35,336 by 2029. What was agreed in teachers’ July 2025 CBA The teachers received less than KSh 2,000 pay increase, with some getting an increment of KSh 1,711 and others getting KSh 886. The 2025-2029 CBA proposed salary increments of up to 29.5% across all teaching cadres, with the changes taking effect from July 1, 2025. The baggage allowance promised teachers KSh 43 to KSh 80 per kilometre during transfers, depending on their grade.
