Atlanta rapper Offset is now seeking spousal support from estranged wife and fellow artist Cardi B, according to a report published by TMZ on May 29.
The news outlet revealed that Offset recently filed an amended divorce response, requesting that Cardi provide financial support, although he did not specify an amount.
He also reiterated his desire for joint custody of their three children—Wave, Kulture, and Kiari—and agreed that Cardi B’s home should serve as their primary residence.
Cardi B originally filed for divorce in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences after seven years of marriage.
Since then, the former couple’s split has played out publicly, marked by social media spats and emotionally charged exchanges.
While both parties had previously agreed to cover their own legal fees, Offset’s latest request may signal a shift in his legal strategy rather than financial hardship.
The divorce proceedings have progressed slowly, with occasional flare-ups online. In a now-deleted post from late 2024, Cardi B expressed her frustration toward Offset, saying, “Bro, I wish the worst on this man. I never hated somebody so much, and these b*tches be so [thirsty] to have him – please take this man off my hands, this garbage bag is too heavy!!!”
Meanwhile, Cardi B appears to be moving on romantically. The Bronx rapper has been recently linked to NFL star Stefon Diggs, a wide receiver for the Houston Texans.
Their rumoured relationship sparked interest in early 2025 after fans noticed the two exchanging flirtatious social media interactions and being spotted at several high-profile events together, including a private post-Grammys party in Los Angeles.
While neither Cardi nor Diggs has officially confirmed the relationship, insiders suggest the pair are “getting to know each other” and are spending increasing time together.
This budding romance has fuelled speculation that Cardi is looking to start a new chapter both personally and professionally.
