In a story with a happy ending, Shadrack (10) and Aaron (7) are now in one of the best schools in Tharaka Nithi. According to Karimi, generous well-wishers stepped in swiftly, paying the boys’ school fees in full and ensuring they were fully equipped to begin their education journey. She described the donors as “real servants of God” and praised their compassion and prompt action in changing the lives of the young boys. One of the most significant updates is that the house their late father had begun building before his untimely death is now nearly complete. “The house now has windows and doors, and we are fixing them today. Just plastering the lower walls and we’re good to go,” Karimi shared.
In addition to the school support and housing improvements, the boys have also received a brand-new double-decker bed, meaning they will come home from school to a safe, comfortable place to rest. Karimi gave special mention and appreciation to all those who contributed, particularly a generous anonymous donor whom she referred to as a “superhero.” “I honestly don’t have the right words,” she said emotionally. “I pray the prayer of Jabez in your lives. May God expand your territories.” She also extended gratitude to TUKO.co.ke for covering the story and helping bring attention to the children’s desperate situation. This beautiful act of kindness is a reminder that community, compassion, and faith can turn even the darkest stories into tales of hope. From a life of uncertainty and grief, Shadrack and Aaron now face a brighter future thanks to strangers who became family.
