Pierra Makena to Trolls: I Don’t Take My Daughter To Clubs

DJ Pierra Makena has told of people who assume she takes her daughter to clubs.

Makena is often spotted with her daughter on different occasions during gigs.

Unknown to Many, Rica Pokot is a TV host, and given that she is still under age her mum has to be by her side always.

She hosts Akili TV on NTV, and she is also the host of Churchill Show Kids Corner.

Ricca is also an influencer; besides that, she is a student.

Speaking during an interview with NTV, Pierra expounded it has not been easy raising a Gen Alpha Daughter.

“She is Gen Alpha, and I am a Millennial, so I have to fit in their generation so that I can be able to raise her.

I have brought her up in a Godly way, so she knows what is good and what is not.

Even when we are together, she knows where not to be.”

Pierra clarified that, contrary to people’s assumptions, she does not take her daughter to clubs.

“I hear people saying Pierra takes her daughter to the club.

I ain’t that kind of mother. There are things I can’t do with her, there are people I can’t let her meet.

I take criticism with a pinch of salt.”

How does she protect her daughter from online bullying?

” What people say has nothing to do with you. When you realize that you live freely. I also take criticism with a pinch of salt.”

Pierra is raising her daughter alone.

In the past, she talked about her baby daddy moving on with life.

“He’s not part of our lives. There’s a time we met and talked, and he admitted that he had not been a good parent. I let him know that the day he is ready to be a good father I will let him. He is her real father, and that will never change.”

Her baby daddy married someone else when she was five months pregnant.

Speaking in an interview with Mungai Eve, the mother of one, shared

“I cannot take a man to court,t I cannot sue a man because he has refused to take care of his child. No, please, God help me to never do that,” she said.

“I wish I could take a man to court so he can love the child. Love is more different than material. Let a man be there, let that man hug a baby when she needs love and attention. Let them take care emotionally of their child,”.
