Small and medium enterprises and corporates can now explore cutting-edge tech solutions and future-proof their tech stacks with people-inspired solutions following the launch of the first-of-its-kind cybersecurity and AI-powered experience hub center in East Africa by a UK-based tech firm, Syntura.

This state-of-the-art facility offers businesses the opportunity to explore and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance their operations.

The Syntura Experience Center is designed to showcase advancements in workplace collaboration, artificial intelligence, and enterprise security.

Featuring Microsoft’s AI Co-pilot, Teams Voice, and advanced security solutions, the center provides an immersive environment for businesses to experience how seamless communication, advanced security, and AI-enhanced tools can transform their operations.

Serving as a platform for enterprises across various sectors, the center enables testing and validation of advanced technology solutions in real-world settings.

The hands-on approach ensures businesses can make informed technology investments that drive operational efficiencies, enhance resilience, and maintain a competitive edge.

According to the African Union’s Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa (2020-2030), Africa’s digital economy is projected to grow significantly in the coming years.

The Syntura Experience centre is poised to play a vital role in this growth by helping businesses enhance security, streamline operations, and accelerate innovation through AI-powered and cloud-enabled solutions.

Speaking at the launch, Syntura Group Managing Director Chris Evans challenged SMEs in Kenya to leverage tech, adding that the new Experience center is designed to help businesses in showcasing how secure collaboration and advanced communication solutions, enhanced by AI, can drive workplace innovation.

“The future of work is intelligent, secure, and seamlessly connected. Our new Experience centre is designed to help businesses navigate this transformation by showcasing how secure collaboration and advanced communication solutions, enhanced by AI, can drive workplace innovation. We have mobilised significant investments in Kenya and will continue to do so, recognising the immense potential in East Africa.” Remarked Evans

According to Syntura Regional Director for East Africa Anthony Muiyuro, emphasis was placed on playing a pivotal role in the new technology in enabling innovation, experimentation, and launching AI-driven solutions tailored to the region’s unique challenges.

Muiyoro said, “The Syntura Experience Centre will play a pivotal role in contributing to Kenya’s AI and technology revolution, enabling firms of all sizes to innovate, experiment, and launch AI-driven solutions tailored to the region’s unique challenges. By offering a hands-on, interactive environment, Syntura empowers organisations to explore cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency while maintaining the highest security standards.”

The launch event featured an expert panel discussion titled “AI, Cybersecurity, and the Future of the Digital Workplace”, with industry leaders such as Brenda Mbathi (CEO, TRIFIC), Frank Molla (MD-Africa, MDP), and Moses Kemibaro (Founder & CEO, DotSavvy).

The panel explored how executives can leverage technology to enhance effectiveness, agility, and cost-efficiency within their organisations.
