Residents of Eldoret and surrounding areas woke up to the shock of discoloured water flowing from their taps. ELDOWAS company has responded after water discolouration complaints. Social media was ablaze with netizens sharing images of the brownish-black water and blaming the county government for inaction. In a statement seen by TUKO.co.ke dated Friday, March 28, ELDOWAS Managing Director Lawrence Tanui acknowledged the public complaints, assuring residents that the issue was being addressed urgently.
“ELDOWAS acknowledges residents’ concerns about the sudden discolouration of the town’s water supply this morning.
