American rapper and actor Ludacris has responded to the widespread use of his images in barbershops across Africa and beyond.
In Kenya, his picture has been a staple in many barbershops, used as a marketing tool to attract customers. The trend isn’t limited to Kenya—it extends across the world, from Europe to the Caribbean.
In a TikTok post, Ludacris reacted to a fan who asked if he was aware that his face was plastered across countless barbershops.
“Not only do I know that they got my side beards and my cut plastered all around Africa, Europe, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico,” he said. “The only thing I’ve been trying to figure out is—who’s getting all of my residuals?”
