Business lady, author, and philanthropist Lillian Nganga has clapped back at critics doubting the fact that she has dated only 2 men in the span of the last close to 15 years.
The mother of one, who is married to lyrical genius and human/social rights activist Julliani, will be turning 40 in June this year. Speaking during a recent interview with comedian turned TV show host and events MC, Dr. Ofweneke Lilian got candid about how since she was aged 25 till date she has only been involved with just two men.
Her remarks were met with a fair share of skepticism and trolling from netizens who felt she was not being truthful.
Taking to her X account, Lilian bashed her critics while bragging about some of her huge achievements. The author further maintained that her statements were factual letting netizens know that they should get used to more candid life conversations and screen time from her.
“How can the FACT that I’ve been with only two men since I was 25 (I am turning 40 this year) make me all the nonsensical things you call me?” Started off the businesswoman.
She went on to add, “Foolish, foolish lot! I was lucky to run two elections and win (something some of you will never get to experience), so whether you like or not, I’ll continue to share my opinion on different matters. This is just the beginning. Stay put or ship out,”

During a recent interview with comedian turned TV show host Dr. Ofweneke the mother of one candidly gave details about her romantic history, stating that she has never been single. The soft-spoken Lillian shared:“I have always had a boyfriend; I have never been in a phase where I was single. I loved this boy, but our relationship was full of drama. It became unhealthy, and we eventually broke up.
He became insincere when I became an air hostess, so I had to end the relationship. I tried my best, but now we laugh about it. I had known him since high school.”
When asked if their breakup was due to financial issues, she clarified: “He had money and provided for us, so it wasn’t about finances. He was just insecure. I was so busy that I never really had time to feel the heartbreak. Not long after that, I got another boyfriend.”
After breaking up with that man she went on to date a white man before, at the age of 25. They ended up parting ways as well and she went on to become the First Lady of Machakos while dating the then Machakos Governor, Mr. Alfred Mutua.
She explained that she has chosen to speak openly now because people have put her in a box.
“I used to be very quiet, but now I have a son and a legacy to protect, so I have to speak my truth. People don’t really know who I am, but I have been placed in a certain category. I even did modelling in the past.”
