President William Ruto’s five-day tour of Nairobi County enters its third day today, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, as he continues to launch major development projects across the city.

The Head of State is expected to inspect the construction progress at Riruta Market in Dagoretti South before opening a Digital Innovation Hub at the DCC Grounds in the same constituency.

He will then proceed to Dagoretti North, where he will commission the DCC/Chief’s Camp and launch the construction of classrooms at Gatina Primary School and Kawangware Primary School.

In Westlands, Ruto will launch the construction of classrooms at Westlands Primary School, visit Kangemi Market, and inspect the progress of Kangemi Bridge.

The tour, which began on Monday, has seen the President unveil key projects, including the Ksh50 billion Nairobi River Regeneration and Engineering Works Programme aimed at restoring the city’s waterways, expanding affordable housing, and creating jobs.

On Tuesday, he visited Mathare where he urged Kenyans to reject divisive politics while also launching an 800-bed dormitory at St Teresa’s Secondary School.
