Trump administration says the enforcement actions are currently prioritizing public safety and national security threats.

Arnold Malcom, a popular tiktoker living in the US spoke out about such claims.

Malcolm cautioned against selling out fellow citizens, while also giving what he terms as valuable advise to Kenyans who may be the subject of such arrests and detentions.

He advised you should remain mum, or stay offline, he also said one should not drive until the situation is assessed.

“Maze Trump has not even finished three days and you have begun to report people. Mumeanza kusetiana jo. You know I always tell people, if you know y our things are not set (papers) dont tell people, cheza chini.”

He continued to lament about Kenyans behaviors of wanting to profit from the misfortunes of others.

“Cheza chini maze, play it down, and if it is possible, try and find a solution. Now here in Chicago, the Department of Homeland Security have said if you know anyone without papers, there is this number, please call and tell us, then we will give you 750$. . So there is this ”

Malcolm claimed two Kenyans have been rounded up over fellow citizens snitching “You have exposed those two, they have been taken today about 800 people have been arrested countrywide. So that guy has been given 750, how much is that in Kenya Shilling? That story has really upset me” he further added.

Another popular Kenyan The Kenyan American Home on Ig also alleged similar story.

He said “It is happening, so watch out, jichungeni, Hi my people, The Kenyan American here. I have been scrolling on tiktok maze and came across a post of a cop in Texas. He was giving a story how during his shift how two Kenyans called to give a tip about other undocumented Kenyans. Guys take care, The first one called and even gave the home address. Then the second called the cops to snitch on a Kenyan woman who is marrying for papers and that marriage is fake, so these Kenyans instead of calling ICE, they are calling local enforcement, Guys just know, it is happening” he insisted.
