List of 74 Countries You can Travel to with Kenyan Passport in 2025

Henley and Partners released the Global Mobility Report 2025, along with the first-quarter update of the Henley Passport Index, ranking passports based on visa-free access to 227 destinations. According to the report, the 227 travel destinations may require a visa, while about 111 destinations can be accessed visa-free. The report further showed that the top-ranked passport can access 195 destinations visa-free, while the bottom-ranked passport can access 26 destinations visa-free.  The Henley Passport Index of the year 2025 ranked Singapore as the most powerful passport in the world with visa-free access to 195 out of 227 global destinations. Kenya drops in passport ranking Kenya’s passport fell down one position to 68th in the 2025 passport index.

The Henley Passport Index compares the visa-free access of 199 different passports to 227 travel destinations. If no visa is required, or if a visa on arrival (VOA), visitor’s permit, or electronic travel authority (ETA) is available, the passport is assigned a score of 1 for that destination. Conversely, a score of 0 is assigned if a visa or pre-departure approval for an e-Visa or VOA is required, and the total passport score equals the number of destinations with a score of 1. Most powerful passports Several EU member states, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, have dropped two places to rank 3rd, alongside Finland and South Korea, each falling one place over the past year, and they all now enjoy visa-free access to 192 destinations. Seven EU nations, Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden, share 4th place with access to 191 destinations, while Belgium, New Zealand, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK rank 5th with 190 visa-free destinations. The remainder of the index’s Top 10 is predominantly occupied by European countries, with exceptions including Australia in 6th place (189 destinations), Canada in 7th (188 destinations), the US in 9th (186 destinations), and the UAE, the first and only Arab state to break into the top tier. Over the past decade, the UAE has been one of the index’s biggest climbers, gaining visa-free access to 72 additional destinations since 2015 and rising 32 places to secure 10th spot with access to 185 destinations worldwide.
