eCitizen platform restored after temporary disruption

The eCitizen platform is back online after experiencing temporary technical issues that disrupted access to services earlier Friday.

In a statement, the Director General Amb. Isaac Ochieng attributed the outage to an internal network issue that affected its operating system.

However, technical teams promptly addressed the problem, successfully restoring normal operations.

“We regret the inconvenience caused to our clients and appreciate their patience and support as we resolved the disruption,” the statement read.

The eCitizen team reaffirmed its commitment to delivering convenient, reliable, and accessible government services, emphasizing ongoing efforts to ensure smooth operations for its users.

The platform remains a critical tool for accessing various government services.
