Kalonzo Musyoka Proposes Philip Kisia for Azimio’s Top Job to Replace Raphael Tuju

Wiper Party leader and Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has proposed Philip Kisia as the new Executive Director of the coalition. Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka proposed Phillip Kisia to take over Raphael Tuju’s role in the coalition. Kisia, a former Nairobi Town Clerk, is poised to replace Raphael Tuju, who has been holding the position. Speaking during his New Year address on Monday, December 29, Kalonzo lauded Kisia’s vast experience in public service, private sector leadership, and community engagement.

He expressed confidence in Kisia’s ability to guide Azimio’s Secretariat through a transition into what he termed an “all-inclusive and progressive Coalition.” “I propose that Philip Kisia be appointed as the new Executive Director of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party to take over from Hon. Raphael Tuju. Mr. Kisia’s extensive experience in public service, private sector leadership, and community engagement makes him uniquely qualified to lead Azimio’s Secretariat as it transitions to an all-inclusive and progressive Coalition,” Kalonzo stated.

What next for Azimio Kalonzo also took the opportunity to express gratitude to Zein Abubakar for his contributions as the leader of his Presidential Secretariat over the last six months. He credited Abubakar’s academic prowess and activism for enriching the team’s agenda. Kalonzo hinted at unveiling additional members of Azimio’s leadership team to push its agenda for constitutional democracy and inclusive governance.

“On a different note, I wish to thank Hon. Zein Abubakar for accepting to lead my Presidential Secretariat for the last six months. His rich and prolific academic background, combined with years of activism, has already enriched our growing People’s Team. In the coming months, we will be unveiling more members of the Team determined to rid this country of dictatorship and return us to constitutional democracy,” Kalonzo added.
