Repentance and Holiness Church leader Prophet David Owuor Sunday stormed Nakuru City ahead of his two-day revival meeting dubbed Menengai 7.

Business came to a standstill as his convoy made its way to a Nakuru City hotel that would host him ahead of the crusade.

Thousands of his followers lined up to welcome him as he made his way to the City.

From Nairobi to Nakuru, he made stopovers including in Naivasha where a multitude of people waited for him.

He briefly addressed them before proceeding with his journey to the City.

The two-day revival meeting will start on Monday and end on Tuesday.

Traders, matatu operators, bodaboda riders, hoteliers and other accommodation entities such as Airbnbs have recorded a booming business.

The event is expected to occasion traffic owing to the huge crowd movements that often come with it.

Security has been tightened around the venue of the meeting and along the streets of the city with police seen patrolling the area and doing crowd control.

Such meeting often brings together people from all parts of the country where Prophet Owuor commands a following.

Several of his followers from Brazil, South Korea and the US among other states are also attending the meeting.
